Important Information About Written Exam Score Validity
Written Examination Eligibility
A passing score on the Written Examination remains valid for six (6) years, allowing candidates sufficient time to pursue certification through the Bilingual Interpreting Examination (BIE)
Candidates who hold a valid Written Examination score may register for the BIE in their target language when an examination is available.
Important: Candidates who take the BIE four (4) times without achieving a passing score must retake and pass the Written Examination before becoming eligible to continue testing.
